ABOUT US

     

The purpose of the Palm Harbor Business OASIS is simple: to provide a venue for local business people to meet, conduct business, network with their contemporaries, and relax. Our building offers facilities to hold meetings, private consults, seminars, conduct some business (we're wireless enabled) or simply catch up on the latest in the world of business. The OASIS is ideal for small businesses who are without such facilities, and for business people who do not wish to commute to their downtown offices. Membership in the OASIS entitles you to the use of the facility and full access to this web page with all of its related tools to help you. All for the affordable price of $50 per month.

In addition to the facilities and web site, supplemental business services are available at reasonable rates, including word processing, desktop publishing, web services, and I.T. specific consulting.

    MEET

    We have meeting rooms available to suit several meeting situations: a Private Consult room to negotiate/consult one-on-one with a client; a Conference Room to accommodate up to eight people, and; a Training Room to accommodate eight to twelve people. Use of these facilities are free to members but have to be scheduled with OASIS management.

    In terms of equipment, we have a PC projector, overhead projector, slide projector, chalk board, and white board with flip chart. Again, all free to use by OASIS members. The building is wireless for Internet connections as well.

    NEED TO RENT A MEETING ROOM? Although the Oasis meeting rooms are intended for use by its membership, when not it use they can be rented for $50/hour during normal working hours or $75/hour for after hours. Consult Oasis management for details.

    OASIS will also be conducting special free on-site seminars on topics pertaining to effective use of the PC, the Internet, special vendor presentations, etc., all of which is aimed at educating the membership and keeping them abreast of developments.

   

    WORK

    Members are free to use the work rooms with comfortable desks to conduct business (first come/first served). Since the facility is wireless, simply flip open your laptop and you are operational on the Internet. Computer printers and photocopies are also available for free use (but not for voluminous printing). Fax machines are also on the premises. Free notary service is available to members as well.

    It should be noted that the OASIS should not be construed as a full-time office for lease. Members are prohibited from storing their belongings at the OASIS over night.

    SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES: OASIS management can also help you with a variety of other business related tasks at reasonable rates, such as:

    The OASIS offers a club-like environment to help establish business contacts in the community.

    The OASIS web site also includes valuable facilities for members to:

    • Login to various e-mail protocols, business & social networks.
    • Local Entertainment Guide.
    • Pay your membership dues on-line.
    • Pertinent web links for Travel Planning.
    • Download useful software tools free of charge.
   

    RELAX

    Just want to come in and catch up on the latest news in the business world? The OASIS offers comfortable facilities to sit, watch television (such as Bloomberg and CNBC), or read the latest business periodicals. Coffee and bottled water are available for members. Smoking is permitted on the back deck (sorry, not inside). A kitchen table is also available to eat lunch. There's even a treadmill if you need a little exercise.
